One Time Setup – Configure Channels

Using Preset Channels
- Begin at the Sessions homepage
- Click on Channels
- Click on the “Presets” tab
- Find the language you wish to enable and click on it. It should highlight to indicate it is enabled.
- Repeat the above step for the other languages you wish to enable.
- If the language you wish to enable is not in the presets list, follow the instructions below for manually adding a channel.
Manually Adding a Channel
- Begin at the Sessions homepage
- Click on Channels
- Enter the name and short code for a channel (for example: Name: English Short Code: EN)
- Click Add Channel
- Return to Home
- Click on Tools
- Find Locale & Directionality and click on Configure
- Click on Directionality and select channels that are for right-to-left languages
- Click on Locale and set the locale for each channel. (Tip: If none of them are applicable, continue to the next step)
- Return to Tools and find Automatic Translation. Select configure.
- Set the language for each channel
- Return to Tools and find Assisted Captioning. Select configure.
- Set the language for each channel. (Tip: if none are applicable, continue to the next step)
- Repeat the above steps for each channel you need to set up.
