Do I have to purchase a subscription for a one-time event?

You won’t have to buy a monthly or annual subscription plan for a one-time event. You can request a quote, and we’ll tailor it to your unique needs.

How does the billing work?

The billing is based on usage time as well as other factors. To prepare your quote, we typically need to know the frequency of your events, the usage hours, and the number of target languages. For recurring events like worship services, lectures, classroom instructions, and monthly or annual meetings, you will be subscribed to a monthly or annual plan based on your needs.

What happens if I exceed my usage limits?

You will be billed for an overage if you exceed your plan’s allocated usage hours. Our Customer Success team will run a report to track usage. While buying hours upfront may offer a cheaper per-hour rate, exceeding the plan will result in additional charges.

Can I cancel my subscription after the first month?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime, but you will not get a refund. Many customers choose to keep it for one or more of the following reasons:

  1. They want to retain the Autoreplacement Database and Translation Memory they built over time to improve the captioner and translation engines for their particular domain.
  2. They want to store their documents (manuscripts, multilingual transcripts, slides) in the portal for safekeeping (backed up in the cloud).
  3. They want to keep their portal URL.
  4. They like having the ability to generate multilingual caption files after their events.
  5. They use spf.io’s workflow features to coordinate their team’s content in preparation for events.
  6. They use spf.io’s analytics to gain insight into the effectiveness of their translation efforts for live events, documents, and videos. 
  7. They want to avoid paying the one-time setup fee to reactivate their portal.
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment from major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via Stripe and select digital payment platforms (PayPal, Cash App Pay, Google Pay, etc.). Please contact us to discuss additional payment options if needed.
