How to use the Profanity Filter in your session

Spf.io has a built-in block list that automatically blocks multiple profanity words. However, you can customize the words you want to block and allow in your session.

If there are words you want to block, you can add them to your Block List. You can also enable some words from our built-in list to appear in your transcriptions by adding them to your Allow List.

How to customize the Block and Allow Lists

  1. Go to your Dashboard and then click Settings > Captioner > Profanity Filter.
  2. Select the language you want to use in your session from the ‘Select Language’ dropdown menu.
