Today, we’re pleased to announce the addition of profanity filters to our Automatic Caption and Translation (ACT) service. We’ve crafted a feature that gives users a safer experience with our speech-to-text technology, across many major languages.
The Benefits of the Profanity Filter
- Safer Autopilot: Experience more respectful communication with the Profanity Filter safeguarding your automatic captions.
- Multilingual: With the inclusion of many major languages, our Profanity Filter helps ensure respectful and inclusive multilingual interactions.
Once you activate the profanity filter in a session it will omit offensive, abusive, and profane words from appearing. This reduces the risk of offending your audience with inappropriate speech recognition.
How to Enable the Profanity Filter
Our Profanity Filter is now live and accessible to all existing subscribers at no additional cost.
Here’s how to activate it:
- Log in to your spf.io account.
- Go to your Sessions > Create Session > Options
- Find the option to enable the profanity filter and simply switch it on to activate the filter.
Then start your session and use spf.io as usual. It’s that simple. Read the documentation to learn more on how to use the Profanity Filter.
