Real-Time ProPresenter Translation for Multilingual Worship

May 25, 2026 | Blog, Dashboard

In celebration of Pentecost Sunday, spf.io now provides real-time ProPresenter translation by automatically translating ProPresenter slides into multiple languages the moment they appear on screen. Audience members can follow along on their mobile devices or public displays meant to show slides in another language.

For some churches, multilingual ministry is already a major focus. For others, it may begin with something much simpler: helping someone follow along and feel included during worship.

In the past, supporting multiple languages during worship could be difficult to manage. Some place multiple languages onto the same slide, which can reduce readability when designed improperly. Others rely on separate translated presentations, manual workflows, or additional volunteers managing multilingual content during the service.

Spf.io’s new feature significantly reduces the operational complexity for churches. By directly connecting to ProPresenter, you do not need to add a volunteer operator or another workflow to an already busy Sunday service.

“The Lord has brought people from South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe into our church, and Spf.io has been one of our biggest tools in welcoming them and ministering to them. Whenever someone from a new country starts attending, we are able to easily add languages to accommodate them.”

 — Weston Duke, Pastor–Capital Presbyterian Herndon.

Translate ProPresenter Slides Automatically

When your team advances a slide in ProPresenter, spf.io instantly detects the change and delivers translated ProPresenter slides to every audience language channel at once.

Attendees see the same worship lyrics, sermon notes, Scripture readings, announcements, and presentation slides in their own language — live as the service happens.

Everything appears directly inside the spf.io audience app in the same Slides view your audience already uses. There’s nothing new to learn and nothing extra to open.

Translate Image-Based ProPresenter Slides Too

Many churches use designed lyric graphics, announcement images, and full-screen visual slides inside ProPresenter. spf.io can automatically detect text inside those images using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and translate that content in real time as well.

That means your multilingual audience can follow along even when your ProPresenter slides are image-based instead of plain text.

Built for Churches and Multilingual Events

Whether you’re supporting bilingual worship services, international congregations, live interpretation, multilingual conferences, or translated sermon slides, spf.io helps make ProPresenter translation simple.

For many churches, multilingual ministry does not begin with building entirely separate services or large interpretation teams. Sometimes it begins with helping someone understand a worship lyric, follow a Scripture reading, or engage with a sermon point in their own language.

By integrating directly into the worship tools churches already use, spf.io’s ProPresenter translation lowers the barrier for churches that want to begin exploring multilingual worship in a practical and approachable way.

“We’re a small local church and always looking for volunteers. Connecting spf.io to ProPresenter lets us provide live translated slides without needing another operator.”

 — Ben Doggett, Director of Worship–Capital Presbyterian Herndon
